Can Cangir has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Can began their career as an advisor to the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister's Office in 1988. Can then moved on to become a director at the Mass Housing Administration, Republic of Turkey in 1989, and concurrently served as the Managing Director and Board Member at Erdemir. In 1992, they joined the Office of the President, Republic of Turkey as an Advisor to the President, before transitioning to become a partner at ARGE Consulting in 1994. Can went on to become a board member at Borusan Power Systems in 1996, and a founding member of the Edoxx Group of Companies in 2004. Can then founded International Trade and Procurement Services in 2001 and currently serves as the Global Business Development role at Relevant Power Solutions since 2019. Can's experience encompasses various leadership positions and advisory roles.

Can Cangir has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin.
