Tuan V. Hoang, PhD has extensive experience in power electronics engineering. Tuan V. is currently employed as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Relectrify, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at KaRaTec Power Supplies as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer from October 2022 to February 2023.

From October 2020 to September 2022, Tuan worked at MKS Instruments as a Senior Electronics Engineer. In this role, they designed and developed complex power electronics components and radio frequency generators. Tuan V.'sresponsibilities included designing high-frequency switching gate drivers, magnetics (inductors and transformers), and class-D power amplifier systems.

Tuan's prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Ulsan from March 2015 to August 2020. During this time, they focused on researching and developing power electronics-based converters and control algorithms for renewable energy systems. Tuan V. conducted theoretical analysis, digital simulations, and prototype assembly and testing of islanded microgrids. Tuan also authored numerous technical articles, including papers in the prestigious IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics. Additionally, they successfully secured funding for a research proposal focused on distributed control techniques for microgrids.

Tuan V. Hoang, PhD, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Power Electronics from the University of Ulsan, where they studied from 2015 to 2020. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Power System at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, attended from 2007 to 2012.
