Nicole Austin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nicole began their career in 2004 as a volunteer for Biggert for Congress and later served as a Professional Staff member for the Office of Congresswoman Judy Biggert. In 2007, they worked as Professional Staff for the Committee on Financial Services in the U.S. House of Representatives and also served as Professional Staff for the U.S. House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit. From 2009 to 2010, Nicole Austin worked as Professional Staff for the U.S. House Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigations. In 2011 and 2012, they served as Professional Staff for the U.S. House Financial Services Subcommittee on Insurance, Housing and Community Opportunity. Nicole then worked as a Policy Advisor for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of the Special Inspector General for TARP from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Nicole Austin held roles in the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, first as Assistant Vice President, Federal Government Relations and later as Vice President, Federal Government Relations. Since 2017, they have been working as the Senior Vice President & Director of Federal Affairs for the Reinsurance Association of America. Nicole Austin also has experience in the field of figure skating, having worked as a Professional Figure Skating Instructor for the U.S. Figure Skating organization since 1997.
Nicole Austin attended the Wharton School between an unknown start year and 2016. However, the degree and field of study are unspecified. From 1997 to 2001, they studied at Hamilton College without obtaining a degree or specified field of study. In 1999, they briefly attended Goldsmiths, University of London, again without obtaining a degree or specifying a field of study.
