Denise Rowley is a skilled sustainability professional with extensive experience in environmental governance and carbon planning. Currently serving as a Sustainability Project Officer at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council since April 2023, Denise previously held the role of Net Zero Carbon Planning Officer at The Church of England from September 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included developing and finalizing a plan for achieving net zero carbon by 2030. Denise's earlier career includes significant positions at the Port of London Authority as Senior Advisor for Environment and Sustainability Governance, as well as roles at Jacobs and Atkins as an Environmental Consultant. Denise holds a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from Durham University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
