Braden Shaul has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Braden started their career in 2000 as a Carpenter at Shaul Construction. In 2009, they became a Project Manager at Paul Reed Construction, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Braden served as a Draftsman at Johnson Cashway Lumber Co. Braden then joined Scottsbluff Public Schools as a Drafting Instructor, teaching drafting and woodworking to high school students. In 2012, they also established their own company, Shaul Designs LLC, where they worked as a Residential Designer. In 2018, Braden became a Construction Project Manager at McCaslin Consulting, Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Facilities Management at Regional West Health Services since 2023.

Braden Shaul earned a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma from Gering High School between 2002 and 2006.
