Annelien Mestdagh has extensive experience in healthcare, currently serving as a Werknemer in opleiding - verpleegkundige at Regionaal Ziekenhuis H Hart Leuven since September 2023. Previously, Annelien worked as a Project Specialist at KU Leuven, where responsibilities included designing interprofessional simulation scenarios and facilitating training for health care students and professionals. Annelien also held the position of Project Manager in Chronic Care at Khobra vzw, overseeing projects related to chronic conditions. Prior experience includes roles as Team Leader in Clinical Engineering CMF and Clinical Engineer focused on cranio-maxillofacial surgery at Materialise, as well as a Researcher at KU Leuven’s LUCAS Centre and a Clinical Research Associate at PAREXEL. Annelien Mestdagh holds a Postgraduate Master in Bio-Ethics and several degrees in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven.
