Karim Benkorba is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sports management and public policy. Currently serving as the Directeur de projets stratégiques et transverses at Région Île-de-France since February 2018, Karim oversees strategic projects aligned with the organization's goals in sports, health, solidarity, and security. Previously, as Chef du service des sports, responsibilities included managing human, budgetary, and technical resources in the sports department. Karim has also held key positions in the Département de l'Essonne, including Responsable de la Maison des Sports, leading a dedicated sports establishment, and serving as Conseiller technique sportif, providing project expertise and supporting high-level athletes. Karim holds a DESS in Management du Sport and a Master's degree in Performance du Sport from Université de Bourgogne, as well as a qualification as an Attaché principal from Institut National des Etudes Territoriales (INET).
