Lark Park is the Director of the California Education Learning Lab in the Governor's Office of Planning and Research. She previously served as a senior advisor for policy in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr., where she has worked on higher education, workforce and childcare/early learning issues since 2015. Between 2011 and 2015, she served as a deputy legislative affairs secretary in the Governor's Office, focusing on health and human services issues. Prior to that, she was a consultant to the California State Senate's Committee on Human Services from 2009 to 2011 and the Committee on Health from 2005 to 2009. She has worked in business/technology journalism, management and technology consulting, and also served in the White House.
She has a Master of Arts degree in English from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
