J. Scott Drennan has been working in the aerospace industry since 1993. J. Scott started their career at Bell Flight as a Structural Analyst, and eventually became the VP of Engineering Innovation, Director of Air Vehicle Integration, Chief Engineer AW609, and Manager of AW609 Off-Site Team. In 2020, they joined Hyundai Motor Group as the Chief R&D Officer for Advanced Air Mobility. Since then, they have also been an Advisor for Electric Power Systems, New Vista Acquisition Corp, Elroy Air, and Near Earth Autonomy. In 2021, they founded Drennan Innovation and in 2022, they became an Advisor and Interim Head of Technical Partnerships for REGENT.
J. Scott Drennan received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1988 and 1993. J. Scott then went on to earn a Master's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Southern Methodist University. In February 2021, they obtained a certification in Architecture & Systems Engineering from MIT xPRO.
