Birgitta Ekberg is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in managing HR functions across various hospitality and cruise line organizations. Currently serving as Human Resources Manager at Regent Seven Seas Cruises since May 2016, Birgitta focuses on performance management and training for shipboard personnel. Prior roles include Human Resources Director at Strathcona Hotel of Victoria Ltd and Westin Bear Mountain, along with Human Resources Manager at Harbour Towers Hotel & Suites, where responsibilities encompassed the complete suite of HR functions, including payroll. Birgitta’s career began at Norwegian Cruise Line, where as Purser and Human Resources Manager, management of all shipboard HR functions and payroll completion were key responsibilities. Birgitta holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from IHM Business School.
