Catherine Hicks, CAIA, currently serves as the Director of Institutional Sales at Regan Capital, LLC, a Dallas-based SEC Registered Investment Adviser managing approximately $600 million in alternative investments since October 2020. Prior to this role, Catherine held the position of Institutional Sales Director at Altegris/Artivest from November 2016 to May 2020, where the focus was on alternative investment asset management for RIAs, broker-dealers, and private clients. Catherine also served as Director at Carolina Financial Group, LLC from July 2011 to August 2016, and held interim roles such as Director of Development at USO of North Carolina in 2010 and Manager of Government Relations at GMAC in 2009. Additionally, Catherine was the Director of Life Science Ventures at the Charlotte Research Institute from 2006 to 2009. Academically, Catherine holds a Doctorate in Music from the University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences, a B.A. in Music from Wake Forest University, and a Master's in Music from Westminster Choir College.
