Shawn Du started their professional career in 2014 as the CFO and Founder of Living the Lingo, a language learning company that emphasizes comfort and cultural experiences in the learning process. In 2016, they became the COO and Founder of SayHiToYou French Academy, a role they held until 2018. In 2019, Shawn founded Revenir and currently serves as the CEO.

Shawn Du's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at McGill University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Shawn completed their studies in 2012 and then went on to attend the John Molson School of Business from 2012 to 2016. Here, they focused on Accounting and Finance, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After a brief gap, in 2018 they pursued further education at the Imperial College Business School. Shawn completed a Master of Science degree in Business/Commerce, General in 2019. Most recently, in 2020, Shawn Du enrolled at Y Combinator for an unspecified program.
