George Lehner brings extensive experience in leadership and legal expertise to their various roles. Currently serving as Chairperson for RefugePoint and Geneva Global Initiative, and as Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Fund for Peace, George has demonstrated a strong commitment to humanitarian efforts and governance. In addition, George holds the position of Special Counsel at Troutman Pepper. Prior experience includes a partnership at Pepper Hamilton LLP and a role as Deputy Assistant Legal Adviser at the U.S. State Department. George's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Philosophy from Wesleyan University, a Master's in Urban Planning, and a Doctor of Law in International Law from the University of Michigan. Additionally, George attended the Hague Academy of International Law.
