Philip Orme is a Counsel at Reed Smith LLP, specializing in structured finance within the Financial Industry Group since May 2016. With a focus on structured trade finance, securitisation, and banking and finance, Philip has notable experience, including facilitating a USD1bn trade receivables securitisation programme for an inventory management solutions company. Additionally, Philip has held legal secondee roles at Macquarie Group and Deutsche Bank, contributing to their commodities and investment banking sectors, respectively. Earlier in their career, Philip completed a traineeship at Gide Loyrette Nouel, gaining expertise in various legal areas. Philip holds a Master of Laws in International Finance Law from The University of Manchester and a Legal Practice Course degree from BPP Law School.
