Sam Smith is a Program Specialist at Redwood Coast Energy Authority since April 2019, contributing significantly to the Public Agency Solar Program by assisting with solar PV feasibility analyses and reports. Previously, Sam served as a Sustainability Data Analytics Intern at Humboldt State University Office of Sustainability, where tasks included assessing the feasibility of a centrally managed printer network through data collection and analysis. In addition, Sam held the position of Instructional Student Assistant in the Natural Resources Department at Humboldt State University, responsible for grading and providing feedback on student writing assignments. Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a focus on Energy and Climate from Humboldt State University, completing the degree in 2019.
