Dawn is one of the veterinary surgeons at Redwings and have been here since 2004. Before working at the Sanctuary, Dawn worked in a general veterinary practice for two years.

Dawn primarily based at the Horse Hospital at Redwings’ headquarters and am part of the team that provides emergency, routine and preventative care for the equine residents within the Sanctuary. Dawn also part of the on-call rota, being available for the residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Dawn primarily a General Practitioner, however she main interests are Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology and since being at Redwings she have studied for and gained the CertAVP (Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice).

The job is really varied, she love working within a close-knit team, and she really enjoy working outdoors.
