Melissa Rittlinger has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and support. In 2001, they started their career as a Support Analyst at Kyrus Support Systems, where they provided technical phone support to customers and troubleshooting services for point-of-sale issues. Melissa then joined RedSail Technologies, LLC in 2001 as a Developer I, where they performed product design implementation and support for non-complex to moderately complex applications software projects. Melissa was later promoted to the role of Developer II, where they conducted unit testing, integration testing, and created technical documentation for complex applications software projects. In 2004, they became a Project Lead for Healthcare Pharmacy Systems, responsible for managing project implementations, systems conversions, and composing detailed technical specifications. In 2010, Melissa joined the Special Action Group at RedSail Technologies as a Senior Software Development Engineer, leading specialized projects from concept inception to finished product. Finally, in 2017, they took on the role of Software Development Lead for PowerLine at RedSail Technologies, designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in Microsoft Azure environments using .NET and Java.

Melissa Rittlinger attended Gardner-Webb University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems. In 2005, they completed the Achieve Global Supervisory Certificate Program at Spartanburg Community College, focusing on Management. In 2007, Melissa received training at Carolina Computer Training. In 2011, they pursued Technical Training at AppDev.
