Jim Pellerito has been working in the technology field since 1994. Jim began their career as a Service Technician at Computers Plus, where they were responsible for system repair, troubleshooting, and servicing computer system hardware and software. Jim also designed, built, and set up custom computer and networking systems for small businesses, CAD, and personal use. In 1997, Jim moved to Personal Business Systems, where they served as Service Manager. In this role, they designed and built custom computer systems and client-based, server-based network systems. Jim also provided on-site set-up, repair, and maintenance for computer and network systems, as well as software systems. In 2012, Jim began working for TEKsystems as a Consultant, and at the same time, they began working for CU*Answers as a Network Engineer II and Support Specialist. In this role, they were the first point of contact to assist with all aspects of computer/network hardware and communications support. Jim also provided primary technical support for CU*BASE GOLD, CU*Answers E-Doc ASP Solution and related hardware, and assisted on implementation projects such as CU*Answers E-Doc ASP, new client installations, and CU*Answers conversions. Most recently, in 2021, Jim began working for RedRock Information Security LLC as a Project Manager.
Jim Pellerito attended Jenison High School from 1994 to 1998. Jim then went on to pursue a degree in MIS from Michigan Technological University from 1998 to 2003, with a focus on Engineering, Business, Computer Science, and Information Technology. In August 2021, they obtained a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4: Certified Professional certification from Fortinet.
