Veronica Gibaja has worked for a number of companies in the pharmaceutical industry since 1998. Veronica began their career at Vitex Inc as a Scientist before moving on to Biogen as a Research Scientist in 2004. In 2005, they joined Novartis as a Scientist I and worked their way up to Scientist II. Veronica then moved to Epizyme in 2016 and held a number of roles including Associate Director, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Director Biological Sciences. Most recently, they joined Redona Therapeutics (formerly Twentyeight-Seven) in 2023 as Senior Director of Biology.

Veronica Gibaja obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry from New York University between 1995 and 1998.
