Chris Read has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and product development. Chris started their career at Triton Manufacturing in 2003 as a Mechanical Designer and Production Manager. Chris then worked at Scott Springfield Mfg Inc as a Product Development Specialist before moving to General Dynamics Canada as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Afterward, they joined Scott Springfield MFG again as an IBC Project Manager. Chris further advanced their career at General Dynamics Canada as a Mechanical Design Engineer and later joined Rapid3D as an Applications Engineer. Currently, they are working at Redlen Technologies as a Team Lead in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in module development. Overall, Chris Read has a range of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, and project management.

Chris Read received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
