Nir Yechiel is a Director of Software Engineering at Red Hat, specializing in Application Networking since February 2020, overseeing projects such as Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh and Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. With previous roles at Red Hat as a Senior Manager and Principal Product Manager, Nir has extensive experience in cloud networking, particularly with OpenStack Neutron and related technologies. Prior to rejoining Red Hat, Nir worked at Meta as a Product Manager focused on network management for internet service providers and has held engineering and consulting positions at Cisco, ECI Telecom, and in the IDF C4I & Cyber Security Directorate. Nir holds a B.A. in Political Science, International Relations, and Economics from The Open University of Israel.
