Jim Tyrrell serves as a Senior Principal Solutions Architect at Red Hat since November 2006, being the first Middleware Solutions Architect globally to attain this title. With a strong focus on the Affordable Care Act implementation, Jim played a pivotal role in saving the government tens of millions in software costs and initiated key business strategy discussions. Prior to Red Hat, Jim held various software and consulting roles, developing expertise in Java technologies at Software Info and working with numerous organizations, including Fidelity Financial Services and Lexmark. Educational credentials include a Masters of Design Methods from the Institute of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
