Emilien Macchi is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat since October 2012, focusing on enhancing OpenShift on OpenStack deployments for customers and contributing to the Red Hat OpenStack Platform and OpenShift. Active in the OpenStack community, Emilien has held significant roles such as chair of the Technical Committee, Project Technical Lead, and leader of the TripleO and Puppet OpenStack upstream projects. Previous experience includes working as an R&D OpenStack Engineer at StackOps, freelance technical writing, and web development, as well as a Network & System Administrator for the Armée de l'air. Emilien's educational background includes a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Ynov Informatique and a Vocational Bachelor in System & Network Engineering from Université Côte d'Azur.
