Eddie Abernathy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and partner development, currently serving as a Distribution Partner Account Manager at Red Hat since November 2015. In this role, Eddie has successfully recruited, onboarded, and enabled systems integrators and independent software vendors within Red Hat's partner ecosystem. Previous roles at Red Hat include Partner Ecosystem Development Manager and Channel Sales Account Manager for ISV Partner Solutions, where Eddie facilitated partnerships with Nutanix and IBM, driving significant business growth. Prior to Red Hat, Eddie held various positions at Extreme Networks and Cisco Systems, focusing on channel management and sales enablement, as well as a successful career in real estate. Eddie holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in music education from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
