Duncan Hardie is a seasoned Senior Principal Product Manager at Red Hat, where responsibilities include managing cloud, multi-cluster, and storage initiatives within the OpenShift team since October 2018. Previously, Duncan served as an Oracle Linux Product Manager from March 2010 to September 2018, overseeing the development and launch of Oracle Linux microservices, including Kubernetes and Docker, as well as handling virtualization and cloud opportunities. Earlier roles include Solaris Product Manager at both Oracle and Sun Microsystems, focusing on virtualization technologies like the xVM hypervisor and Solaris Containers. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and Microelectronics from Northumbria University and a Master of Science in Decision Support Systems from the University of Sunderland.
