Robert A. Sauerberg Jr. is the current Board Member at Reddit. Prior to this, they were the President and CEO at Conde Nast from January 2016 to December 2019. During their time at Conde Nast, they accelerated the company's strategy shift toward digital platforms and new revenue streams. In 4 years, they launched numerous new businesses, expanded from print to multi-platform journalism, proved that people would pay to access high-quality content, and upgraded the company's technology and talent.

Some of their major initiatives included extending the reach of iconic brands such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, GQ, The New Yorker, Conde Nast Traveler, Wired, and Pitchfork through vigorous expansion of their digital presence; inventing new ways for advertisers to reach audiences across the entire portfolio of brands; and creating entirely new services for the publishing industry, such as a full-service creative agency, a data offering, an event management arm, a back-end business management platform, and the most successful short-form video business in the market.

One of the biggest challenges—and greatest successes—was melding 20 independent brands under the new "One Conde Nast" structure so that they could share resources and talent. In addition, they are proud of creating a culture of inclusion and respect at Conde Nast and extending that culture to all of their vendors through a "vendor code of conduct" that they enacted and that has since become a benchmark around the world.

Robert A. Sauerberg Jr. has a BSBA in finance from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Mercer University - Stetson School of Business and Economics.
