Matt Russell

Technical Sales Representative at RedBuilt

Matt Russell is currently a Technical Sales Representative for the North Pacific Region at RedBuilt. Prior to that, they were with Interior Tech as a Product Specialist from November 2010 to February 2012. There, they were responsible for outside sales of specialty products and their installation to general contractors and end users. Matt worked directly with architects getting products specified and conducted CES AIA lunches to educate specifiers on product lines. Matt also cold called weekly on general contractors and was successful in negotiating packaging multiple product lines into single sales. In their role, they were also responsible for pricing, pricing strategy, and setting desired margin on each project. Matt developed positive long lasting relationships with multiple architects and general contractors during their time there. Sale of individual projects ranged from $1,500.00 to $225,000.00 in value.

From September 2004 to June 2009, Matt Russell was a Sales/Project Manager at Wood-Lam Structures, Inc. There, they were responsible for sales and coordination of wood products to general contractors throughout the Puget Sound region. Matt created proposals, negotiated contracts, and managed delivery schedules. Matt also oversaw the installation of products on job sites when necessary.

In March 2012, Matt Russell became a Project Coordinator at Weyerhaeuser where they remained until April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for assisting the sales team with contract reviews, proposals, quotes, and product information for wood products being supplied to general contractors and builders in the Puget Sound region.

From April 1998 to September 2004, Matt Russell worked as an Outside Sales representative for Weyerhaeuser. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining relationships with current customers while also developing new business opportunities in the Puget Sound region.

Matt Russell has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Management Emphasis from Seattle Pacific University.
