Homaira Akbari is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the advisory and banking sectors. As President & CEO of AKnowledge Partners, LLC since September 2012, Akbari leads a global firm that provides strategic consultancy to top executives and firms in technology sectors such as IoT, Cyber Security, AI, and Enterprise Software. Additionally, Akbari serves as a Non-Executive Board Member at Banco Santander, contributing to one of the largest banks in the euro zone. Previous roles include Chair of the Compensation Committee at Temenos and Chairman of the Board at WorkFusion, along with a tenure as President & CEO at SkyBitz, where record performance was achieved despite economic challenges. Akbari holds an MBA with Distinction in Strategy and Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a Doctorate of Experimental Particle Physics with Honors from Tufts University and Fermi National Laboratory.
