Derek Sawyer is a finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the accounting and audit sectors. Currently serving as the VP of Finance & Controller at Red Oak Inventory Finance since March 2024, Derek previously held the position of Senior Manager Internal Audit at Insight Global from June 2021 to March 2024. Prior to that, Derek worked at Deloitte as a Risk & Financial Services Advisory Manager from November 2014 to June 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Internal Audit Manager at PRGX Global Inc from December 2009 to November 2014, Senior Accountant/Auditor at Nichols, Cauley & Associates LLC from September 2007 to December 2009, and Account Manager at Textron Financial Corporation from June 2005 to September 2007. Derek earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of North Georgia between 2001 and 2005.
