Olivia Alonso is an experienced professional in the field of power system operation, currently serving as an Expert in the System Operation Division at Red Eléctrica de España since May 2006. Olivia has held various roles including Subject Matter Expert, Senior Project Engineer, and Senior Engineer, contributing to the analysis and evolution of system operation processes and international coordination for organizations such as ENTSOE. With prior experience as a Project Manager at ENTSO-E and a Consultant at RED ELECTRICA Internacional, Olivia has managed projects involving multilateral funding and rural electrification. Olivia's educational background includes an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and participation in the Development Managing Program at IESE Business School.
