Leon Hester has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. In their most recent role as Executive and Director of Customer Success at Red Canary, they started in 2023. Prior to that, at Varonis from 2020 to 2023, they optimized customer retention and oversaw the development of processes and tools for a differentiated customer experience. Before that, at Cisco from 2017 to 2020, they led a team in delivering operational support and ensuring resiliency with customers' networks. From 2015 to 2016, at Violin Memory, they served as a global leader for technical customer support and customer advocacy. At NetApp from 2005 to 2015, they held various executive roles, overseeing customer experience, technical support, and customer success. In their earlier career, they worked at MCI/Verizon, Healthpoint, EDS, IBM, and GTE Data Services in various technical roles.
Leon Hester has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Elizabeth City State University. Leon is also a graduate of the ITSMF Executive Academy from the Information Technology Senior Management Forum.
