Edward Hawney has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Edward started their career as a Lifeguard at FIRST STROKES SWIM SCHOOLS LIMITED from April 2016 to September 2018. In March 2020, they worked briefly as a Trading Simulation at Amplify Trading. Edward then moved on to CME Group in August 2020, where they worked as a Client Development & Sales until September 2021. Currently, they are working at Redburn as an Equity Sales, starting from June 2022.

Edward Hawney attended the University of Bath from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics and Economics. Before attending university, they completed their secondary education at Southend High School for Boys, and then continued on to the school's Sixth Form. Additionally, Edward obtained certifications in Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in July 2020, and in RLSS UK Lifeguard from the Royal Life Saving Society UK in March 2016.
