Serena Lai is an accomplished consultant and director with extensive experience in nonprofit and education sectors, specializing in fairness assessment for standardized testing and strategic planning for community organizations. At ReD Associates since February 2023, Serena applies human science-based strategies for transformative change. Serena serves as a GMAT Fairness Consultant and LSAT Fairness Consultant, focusing on bias evaluation to ensure equity for test takers. Previous roles include Director at CCS Fundraising, Nonprofit Project Manager at the University of Chicago, and various consulting positions at The Aspen Institute and Partec Consulting Group. Serena has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and holds advanced degrees in Philosophy from the University of Chicago and the University of Georgia.
