Zach Lipp is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in developing and scaling machine learning systems and data science products. Currently participating at Recurse Center, Zach studies AI safety and large language models while collaborating on diverse projects in multiple programming languages. At Numerator, Zach successfully reconfigured services for significant scaling, built a system for analysts to manage deep learning models, and established automation standards across development processes. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Lumere, where Zach migrated machine learning pipelines to Kubernetes, and Group Lead at Crowe, driving the development of data science products and managing a team. With a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Concordia College, Zach has a strong foundation in programming and data analysis.
