Carolina Grijalba-Rodriguez, LCSW has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of social work. Carolina is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Stamford PD Clinical Director of Law Enforcement Initiatives at Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. starting in April 2021.

Carolina also has experience as the Gender-Based Violence Prevention Program Director at the Center for Safer Communities, where they managed the daily operations of the program, conducted assessments, and developed individualized service plans. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Western Connecticut State University starting in August 2019.

Earlier in their career, Carolina served as the Domestic Violence Program Director at ARC from 2016 to 2017 and as a Parent Educator at Danbury Public Schools from 2015 to 2016.

Prior to that, they were a Domestic Violence Consultant/Trainer at Wheeler Clinic from 2006 to 2009, where they pioneered the use of the Safe and Together Model in assessing domestic violence in child welfare cases.

Carolina Grijalba-Rodriguez, LCSW holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University. In addition to their educational qualifications, they have obtained certifications in Mediation Skills Training from Quinnipiac University School of Law and is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker accredited by the CT Department of Public Health.
