Brooke Magalis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brooke started their career in 2010 as a Manager at Soul Mountain Restaurant and worked there until 2013. In 2011, they became the Owner, Composer, and Engineer at Five.Sound, and held this position until 2018. From 2013 to 2015, Brooke worked as a Magazine Specialist/Bookseller at Books A Million. Brooke then served as a Barista at Angelika Film Center & Cafe from 2015 to 2017. In 2014, they took on the role of Senior Writer at Black on the Canvas, which lasted until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Brooke worked as an Office Admin at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and also briefly served as a Stage Manager in 2017. Since 2018, they have been at Recorded Books, initially working as an Audio Engineer and currently holding the position of Director of Digital Content.
Brooke Magalis began their education at James Madison University in 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in English. Brooke successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2015. Subsequently, they enrolled in New York University in 2016 and dedicated herself to earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. Brooke'spursuit of higher education concluded in 2018 when they completed their MFA degree.
