Derek Hoiem has a PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon. His research in 60+ publications has been recognized with the IEEE Young Researcher Award, Sloan Research Fellowship, and Intel Early Career Award. As co-founder and CTO of Reconstruct, Derek enjoys finding ways that the latest computer vision algorithms can help people build and maintain infrastructure.
