Eric Matlock is a Lead Security Architect at Recon InfoSec since November 2021. Prior to this role, Eric worked as a Cyber Security Engineer in the United States Air Force since 2008. Additionally, Eric served as the Chief of Training for a cyber protection team in the Texas Air National Guard. Eric also worked as a Cyber Security Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, and IT Solutions Architect at Schlumberger. Before that, Eric was a Software Engineer - Cyber Security at AT&T and a Software Engineer at Baker Hughes. Eric holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Houston.
