Kyoungho An is a dedicated software engineer with extensive experience in research and development within the field of distributed systems and middleware. Currently a Staff Software Engineer and Principal Investigator at RTI since June 2015, Kyoungho leads SBIR research projects with over $1 million in funding and has developed prototypes for DDS-based distributed energy systems. Previous roles include Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems, where Kyoungho focused on pub/sub middleware for distributed real-time embedded systems. An internship at RTI involved the development of scalable protocols for DDS, and a research internship at LG Electronics included the implementation of a mDNS module. Kyoungho An holds a PhD and an M.S. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, as well as a B.S. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Handong Global University.
