Kanad Chakraborty is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electronic design automation (EDA) and product development. Currently serving as Principal Architect at Real Intent since 2017, Kanad leads R&D efforts focused on SoC static sign-off solutions. Previous roles include Manager of Product Development Engineering at Intel Corporation from 2015 to 2017, Principal Test Architect at Lattice Semiconductor from 2010 to 2015, Design-For-Test Worldwide Technical Lead at Cypress Semiconductor from 2007 to 2010, Member of Technical Staff at Nokia Bell Labs from 2001 to 2007, and Advisory Software Engineer at IBM from 1996 to 2001. Kanad holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MS in Computer and Information Science from Syracuse University, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
