Julie B. Kennedy has an extensive work history in various leadership positions. Starting in 1994, they founded and served as CEO of AMERICA SCORES, a national non-profit educational and athletic organization. Julie B. successfully expanded the organization to operate in five major US cities before transitioning to a successor in 2000.

Following this, Kennedy worked at Magna International as the Director of the Girls' Education Initiative from 2003 to 2005.
