Fred Alvarez is a seasoned law enforcement and policy consultant with a diverse background in both public service and community engagement. Currently serving as a Law Enforcement & Policy Consultant with Reach Out since August 2013, Fred utilizes expertise to promote policies aimed at reducing substance use among youth and adults. As a Board Member of the California Association of Youth Courts since April 2023, Fred contributes to initiatives that support juvenile diversion programs and address the school-to-prison pipeline. Additionally, multiple roles as a First Responder Program Consultant for various mortgage companies demonstrate commitment to assisting first responders with financial support and program development. Fred's extensive career in law enforcement includes significant positions such as Police Detective and Public Information Officer for the City of Ontario, where responsibilities spanned investigations of special victims to public communications. Education was obtained at DeVry University, earning an Associate of Arts in Industrial Electronics Technology.
