Lori M. Brooks serves as the National Senior Director of External Affairs at Reach Out and Read, overseeing the organization’s strategic direction and external positioning to support 4.4 million children through pediatric well-child visits. With extensive experience as a marketing and communications consultant since 1999, Lori has advised on crisis management and strategic branding. Previous roles include Director of Communications at Oklahoma Contemporary, where brand concepts were translated into impactful promotional campaigns, and Associate Executive Director of the College Media Association, where leadership in college media education was emphasized. Additional positions include managing publications at the University of Oklahoma Student Media and directing communications for the Michael F. Price College of Business. Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in News Communications from the University of Oklahoma.
