Matteo Balliauw is a faculty member at PFA Business School since September 2024, specializing in digital, data, and analytics education. Serving as the Head of Data, Analytics & Insights at the Royal Belgian Football Association since August 2019, Matteo also holds a researcher position at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Antwerp since September 2014. Previous roles include being an SB Beurs holder at Research Foundation Flanders and PhD Researcher at UAntwerpen, where responsibilities included teaching logistics and transport courses. Matteo obtained a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp in 2020, following a Master's and Bachelor's in the same field from the same institution. Additionally, experiences include work as a PressReader Evangelist at NewspaperDirect from 2011 to 2012 and early research on maritime cities.
