Kevin Mathews is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in high yield portfolio management and fixed income strategies. Currently serving as a Financial Advisor and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at RBC Wealth Management since January 2023, Kevin previously worked as a Fixed Income Consultant at Consulting & Trading, offering advisory services to enhance investment outcomes for high-net-worth clients. Notably, Kevin held prominent roles at Aviva Investors as Global Head of High Yield, managing $6B in assets, and at abrdn and F&C Asset Management, where significant improvements in fund performance and AUM were achieved. Kevin’s career also includes leadership positions at Gulf International Bank and ING, where substantial asset growth and performance enhancements were realized. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Finance from Drake University.
