Daanish Khan is an experienced quantitative trader and algorithm developer with a strong background in finance and technology. Currently serving as a Corporate Credit Algo Quantitative Trader at RBC Capital Markets since September 2019, Daanish focuses on building automated corporate bond market making algorithms, primarily in investment-grade trading. Previously, Daanish worked as an FX Algo Trader at National Bank of Canada, creating an algorithmic execution and hedging platform, and held multiple roles at Morgan Stanley, culminating as Vice President Desk Strategist, where Daanish contributed to the development of corporate bond trading algorithms. Daanish’s earlier experience includes software development for agricultural economic forecasting with the Government of Canada and serving as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University. Daanish holds an M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a B.Eng. in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University.
