Manas Sarkar, PhD, currently holds a dual role at Reckitt, managing the Science Platform and leading the global Entomology Centre of Excellence within the Global R&D sector since August 2020. Previously, Manas served as Head of Product Development at ISCA Global, where responsibilities included building an R&D team focused on next-generation pest management technologies. Prior experience includes significant roles at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, where product innovation and global NPD projects were spearheaded, and research positions at various esteemed institutions, including the National Centre for Disease Control and Defence Research and Development Organisation, contributing to medical entomology, pest control research, and the development of innovative insecticide technologies. Educational credentials include a PhD in Chemical Ecology from Gauhati University, complemented by a Master’s degree from The University of Burdwan and a Bachelor’s degree from Bankura Christian College.
