James Caillouette, MD, currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Managers at Hoag Orthopedic Institute and President of Hoag Clinic, both held since January 2023 and January 2019, respectively. With extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, Caillouette has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon at Newport Orthopedic Institute since 1988, specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, cartilage disorders, and arthroscopic knee surgery. Additional roles include board member positions at RAZOR Medical Instruments, Inc. and Enquyst since 2017, and James previously held the position of President of the Board of Directors for Hoag Memorial Hospital/Hoag Orthopedic Institute until December 2022. Caillouette completed medical education at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Biology from Trinity College-Hartford.
