Peter Hunter is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in programme management, mechanical engineering, and aviation operations. Currently serving as Programme Engineering Manager at Raytheon UK, Peter leads cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of international contracts. Previously, as Lead Engineer for Baker Hughes, Peter supported manufacturing operations for Subsea Tree Systems and drove continuous improvement initiatives. Peter's career includes a significant tenure at Defence Equipment & Support as a Senior Technical Specialist, where strategic guidance was provided on engineering management for aviation assets. Peter's foundational experience includes leadership roles in the Royal Air Force, overseeing maintenance and planning for aircraft operations. Education includes a BSc (Hons) in Engineering Management from the University of Lincoln and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at The Open University.
