Mike Byers is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering, currently serving as the Senior Manager and Site Director at Raytheon Technologies since September 2021. In this role, Mike drives business and process improvements across multiple value streams, utilizing advanced knowledge in engineering analysis and lean principles. As Vice President of the Advanced Aerospace Manufacturing Division at The Albers Group LLC since 2017, Mike oversees operations for a leading machine shop with substantial annual revenue, focusing on compliance and comprehensive manufacturing services. Previous positions include Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer at Sabre Systems Inc., where Mike maintained critical radar systems, and various roles at Raytheon, including oversight of integrated product teams and mechanical design engineering. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Engineering in Static Strength Analysis Techniques from Southern Methodist University.
